Thank you for your kind words.
What did I mean by "how far are they willing to go"? Well, now that you are making me think about it, I guess I meant how much is someone willing to expose himself. For example I'm fairly liberal in sharing my fews but I wouldn't want my boss to know that I'm running this website. He is the kind of man who wouldn't understand or be interested. So there wouldn't be anything gained from him knowing and it might cause him concern that I'm not giving all my attention to the job.
Man-made laws, yes, what can I say?
I'm a magistrate in the UK, a lay judge. I have spoken to a surprising number of my colleagues who believe that 9/11 was an inside job or that Al Qaeda doesn't exist. That's good. More commonly we complain about having ever less discretion; the going line is that one could put a computer in charge and the result would be the same. But we don't make the laws, we are just asked to apply them as they are passed by parliament. So the choice is to try and make a positive difference inside the system or else resign. The difference we CAN make is therefore getting smaller all the time.
Warm Regards
Oliver
